From Ron Paul to Gert guildrich, Rick Perry, etc, to almost every American (well it seems that way) believe the problem is not unfettered capitalism but to much government regulation.
Why do people keep blaming to much government regulation. Could the problem be the opposite. You blame government. Yet it was the private banks that created the sub prime crisis in the first place. Taxes for the top companies are at their lowest ever. Yet unemployment is at its highest. It'd not government that is exporting your jobs over seas it is private enterprises. If you believe an unfettered free market is the best. Try competing with 13c a day third world wage.
