I sense the Liberal Party find themselves in a bind. Their main
benefactors are the coal and mining industries. Thus their doggard
refusal to address Climate Change and the pushing for new Coal fire power stations.
They will lose this coming federal election willingly and probably put attack dog Abbott back in charge.
Between him and Murdoch they figure they will win the next election after this coming one. I hope that most Australians will see this and put the LNP in the electoral wilderness. Furthermore they risk losing to small C conservative high profile independents. Who could set up their own party and thus the new LNP. Which most of the Libs former base will habitually vote for.
This will be further exacerbated with extremist right wing
Christians becoming more prominent in the LNP. Watch out for conversion therapy and creationism being taught in science classes.
The rest will be split between one nation, Corries conservative party, Bob Katter's Australia Party, Parmers Party, Fraser Anning and what's left of the LNP.
For an avide lefty this is all good news
